Kyla, our 19 month old baby, tastes ketchup for the first time and this is how she did it:
Funny thing is, she uses the hamburger meat as a vehicle to “eat” the ketchup. She never ended up eating that meat. 😛

August was sort of a hard month to think of a theme for. There are no big holidays that I know of. No celebrations really. I’ve done beach pictures of Kyla. What summer thing can I do? I started to question whether I could pull off continuing this monthly themed photo thing I committed myself for. I turned to Dr. Google to answer my questions…and then here it is, a cute DIY wood pallet lemonade stand:

So then, I decided just that–this month’s theme will be a lemonade stand photo! Perfect for the summer. I’ve never built anything on my own but I was determined to. I picked up a weathered wood pallet, dismantled it, measured and sawed the pieces, built the frame, nailed the pieces together, made a sign, and whallahhhh, Kyla’s lemonade stand:
I proceeded to make her a little apron with vintage lace trimming to go with the theme:
And so last night, somehow Kyla, and our two dogs Molly and Chewy cooperated and these are the results of August’s themed Lemonade Stand photos. Enjoy!
